Purpose and objectives

The purpose of the conference is to bring together the transport research, data and evaluation community with government officials, decision makers and policy teams from the across the wider transport sector.

Conference objectives:
  • Enhance the use of evidence (data, information, research and evaluation) to inform decision-making
  • Provide a forum for people working across the transport sector to share, build, and maintain their transport knowledge
  • Create a thriving transport research, data and evaluation community that delivers an evidence-based transport system that improves wellbeing and liveability.
Those who should consider attending from across the transport sector include professionals in local and central government, the private sector, non-government and academia.
